Approach
Good work comes from clear expectations as much as good ideas. Here is how we keep both.
Every project has an ease curve.
Slow at the start, while we listen. Fast in the middle, while we make. Slow again at the end, where the detail lives.
- Slow
Brief
You tell us what you are making and who it is for. We ask a lot of questions.
- Slow
Scope
Deliverables, timing and price in writing, before any work starts.
- Fast
First cut
You see the direction early, while changing it is still cheap.
- Slow
Refine
Rounds of notes, agreed up front. Timing, color and finish get their attention here.
- Slow
Deliver
Every format you need, named so you can actually find them.
The questions people actually ask
What does it cost?
We price each project on its scope and put the number in writing before anything starts. If the scope changes, we talk about it before the price does.
How long will it take?
It depends on what you need, so you get dates in the same document as the price. If a date is at risk, you hear it from us early.
How many rounds of changes do we get?
We agree that up front too. Most of the expensive surprises in creative work come from nobody having said this out loud.
Can you work under our name?
Yes. Agencies and studios bring us in for white-label work all the time, and your client deals with you.
Can we show your work, and can you show ours?
Your project stays private until you say otherwise. We ask before we publish anything, and we credit the people who made it.
What do you need from us to start?
What you are making, who it is for, when you need it and anything you already have. A few lines is enough to begin.
What are you making?
A few lines about it is plenty. We read everything that comes in.
“An artist cannot fail; it is a success to be one.”
